7 weeks Half Marathon Training Program Day 15
14 miles long run.
Route for today : 4 laps bukit cinta (4 big loops of UM) (Each lap 5.5km)
Thanks to my training partner for pacing with me today. Starts run at 6.25am. We gather in front of UM Arena and starts at there. Straight head up to bukit cinta. First lap manage to finish with 22:40.99 minutes.
Comes to 2nd lap, my body still able to maintain for it. Finished 2nd lap with the time of 23:09.35 minutes. 10km split time - 42:30 minutes.
The time when running into the third lap, can feel the hill is killing. Pace drop a bit but still able to continue the journey. End up with 23:31.23 minutes for the third lap split time. 10 miles split time - 66:32 minutes.
When comes to the fourth lap, going up the hill that time, my leg telling me enough, stop it, but my mind fight back with it, saying must finish it, die die must finish it, just one last hill to go. Manage to finish the bukit cinta with kind a slow pace, thanks to Alleasy, my running partner for pacing, slowing down for me. When comes to kk12 there, we planning to do a sprint finish when reaching the swimming pool there. So sprint it all the way to the main entrance of UM Arena. End up with 23:18.52 minutes for last lap.
21km split time - 89:32 minutes. (Sub 90 minutes)
Total time - 1 hour 32 minutes 40 sec for 21.76km according to my running partner GPS watch. With the pace of 4:16 min/km.
Happy to break my first sub 1 hour 30 min for a half marathon some more with the 4 crazy hills. Thanks again really appreciate my running partner for today !

Started his running career in the mid of 18 years old which is in the year 2012. First 10k timing were 55 minutes. And within a year of his running career, he managed to achieve Sub 40 for 10km. Now, his personal best for 5k - 16:04, 5,000m - 16:13 and 10k - 33:26, 10,000m - 35:16 minutes. Aiming to hit 5k - Sub 16 min by year 2017. His first Half Marathon timing were 1:44:51 which He did it without a proper training and is just 3 months right after he started running. In year of 2015, 1st of Feb, He managed to hit a 1:23:59 for Half Marathon with the 7 weeks Training Program. In Year 2017, he also won the Second Overall and Best Malaysian in KL Tower International Towerthon Challenge. With this achievement, it kick start his journey to participate in Vertical World Circuit. He represented Malaysia to Beijing Vertical Run as Elite Category and won 5th placing in his first vertical world circuit. He going to Shanghai, Osaka and Hong Kong for the last three vertical world circuit. Currently supported and sponsored by Garmin Malaysia, World of Sports - Mizuno, NulivScience US (Actigin), High 5 Sports Nutrition Malaysia, Lifeline ID, Beet It Sports Malaysia. He is looking for corporate to provide financial support to him to cover his expenses in joining the vertical world circuit.
